Veto Requiring a Higher Threshold
Some constitutions give the executive substantial impact on the legislative process. Often the legislature will still have the possibility to overcome an executive veto but will need to meet a higher threshold number of votes than required to pass the legislation originally. For instance, a constitution may require supporting votes from two-thirds/three-fifths of the legislators in order to overcome an executive veto.
