Iraq's president affirms constitutional powers of Kurdistan Regional Government

The Iraqi Presidency stated that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) holds all constitutional and federal powers over the region and its citizens, provided they align with the constitution and federal government powers. Iraqi President Latif Rasheed met with Federal Supreme Court President Jassim Mohammed Aboud in Baghdad, affirming Iraq's federal nature and the recognition of the Kurdistan Region as per the constitution.
