[Original in French] In Chad, the establishment of a committee responsible for organizing the next referendum on the form of the state has sparked strong criticism. Appointed on 25th January last, the National Commission in charge of organizing the constitutional referendum (CONOREC) is considered too favorable to the transitional government and is even criticized in the power camp. The day after the appointment of CONOREC, eight political parties that support the transition published a press release to denounce a commission composed exclusively of representatives of the government and Parliament, all appointed by the transitional president.
