In Armenia, ministry of justice announces NGO and extra-parliamentary representatives for constitutional reform council

By the decision of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Justice had announced—on December 21, 2021—a competition for candidates for members in the Constitutional Reform Council of Armenia. [...T] he Ministry of Justice informs that the following candidates have been selected from the aforesaid NGOs: 1) "Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Vanadzor Office" NGO (candidate: Artur Sakunts). 2) "Union of Informed Citizens" NGO (candidate: Daniel Ioannisyan). 3) ""Europe in Law" NGO (candidate: Tigran Yegoryan). And the following candidates have been selected from the aforementioned extra-parliamentary parties: 1) Bright Armenia Party (candidate: Edmon Marukyan). 2) Republic Party (candidate: Masis Melkonyan). The list of these candidates will be submitted to the Prime Minister's Office and is subject to approval by the decision of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Constitutional Reform Council of Armenia—and together with the full composition of this council.
