In Luxembourg, public petition fails to trigger referendum on planned constitutional reform

In a statement published on [5 January], the Ministry of State announced that the official petition calling for a referendum on the planned constitutional reform only collected 7,397 signatures. In total, 7,413 signatures were collected across all municipalities. However, 16 were invalid. At least 25,000 signatures would have been required to trigger a referendum.
