In Belarus, eighth session of constitutional commission considers legal formalization of proposals

[On 7 July, the Constitutional Commission] looked into legal formalization of proposals to amend the Constitution of Belarus and provisions on the foundations of the constitutional order and determination of the status of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Petr Miklashevich emphasized that when amending the text of the main law of the country, it was necessary to make it understandable to people. Not only lawyers, but all citizens of our country will be guided by the law.  At the same time, at the final meeting on July 21, the commission plans to consider the legally formalized proposals to change the basic law. And after August 1, the commission will hold a meeting with the President.
