The Guyana cabinet has examined all of the legal and constitutional aspects of a shock no confidence vote against the government and established a sub-committee to advise on the matter, local reports say.
Th Guyana Chronicle, quoting a statement issued on the establishment of the sub-committee, said the members will examine all the legal opinions available and report to the Guyana Cabinet on Thursday, December 27th with recommendations on the way forward.
The government collapsed Friday night after Alliance for Change (AFC) MP, Charrandas Persaud, joined with the opposition in voting against the coalition administration.
