Objection to the Certification of the New Constitutional Text of South Africa

Submission by Ronald Ewald Laue, senior magistrate of the office of the Magistrate Durban, objecting to the chapter 8 of the new Constitution of the Republic of South Africa which does not protect the independence of magistrates to the same extent that it does in respect of judges of superior courts. The document also includes a submission by Legal Resource Centre that argues that the new Constitution fails to make adequate provision for freedom of information.
