Bahamas pass constitution amendment bill creating an office of public prosecutor

The passage of the Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2017, yesterday in the House of Assembly will result in the creation of the country’s first-ever Independent Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
