Australian Referendum Council to call for a body to advise Parliament on indigenous affairs

PRIME Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Opposition leader Bill Shorten will today be given a final report recommending a pathway to recognising indigenous Australians in the constitution. It’s understood the Referendum Council will call for a body to advise Parliament on indigenous affairs, as well as a treaty process.
