COORDINATOR – ARAB ASSOCIATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

General Information 

International IDEA   seeks  to  engage  an  individual  consultant  for  the  project  entitled:    The  Arab Association of Constitutional Law  (AACL).  The services include  contributing to the establishment and daily functioning of the  AACL  and its successful implementation. The  Coordinator will lend substantive support tothe  Secretary  General  and  AACL  committees  as relevant.   A  detailed  description  of  the  assignment  is provided  in  the  Terms  of  Reference  attached  to  this  Request  for  CVs.  Interested  qualified  individual consultants are invited to submit their CVs to participate in the selection.

Tentative timeframe:  It is anticipated that the services will commence  in  July 2016  and  that they will be completed by 31 December 2017. 

Estimated input: The work will be undertaken on a full-time basis.  

Language:  The official language for the contract, reports and any other  documents  in relation to the assignment are English and Arabic. French is an asset.

Preparation of CVs

Language: CVs shall be written in English.

Required experience:  

At least three years of project management experience with a strong focus on constitution building in West Asia and North Africa. 

The  CVs  should  provide information  on the  qualifications of the consultant, his/her general track record and previous specific experience in similar assignments.
