Revising the constitution as Abe's long-term project for Japan

<div><p>This is the third and final installment of a series on Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s reelection as leader of the LDP.</p><p>Prime Minister Shinzo Abe spoke about his goal of revising the Constitution on an Internet program Friday evening.</p><p>“After we establish the national security legal framework, I want to achieve results in generating economic growth. As for revising the Constitution — something my party has striven for since its founding — I plan to keep working on it persistently,” he said.</p><p>Revising the Constitution is part of the Liberal Democratic Party’s platform.</p>
