<table class="fnTable" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td class="fnBrief"><br></td></tr><tr><td class="fnRemainder"><p>The Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha, urged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to take steps to expedite decentralization of power in Sri Lanka - for the cause of Tamil Eelam.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.4px;">Jayalalitha presented a memorandum listing various demands to Modi, when Modi went to Jayalalitha’s residence after launching the National Handloom Day and India Handloom brand.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 20.4px;">The meeting between Modi and Jayalalithaa lasted around 50 minutes.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 20.4px;">The chief minister Jayalalitha also hosted lunch for Narendra Modi.</span></p>
