Liberian women hold confab to ensure protection in Constitution

<p>Despite producing the first woman President in Africa, Liberia currently lies in the one hundredth place in the world ranking of countries promoting participation and Gender equity in politics, Human rights and children's rights amongst others. Efforts by local and international Non-Governmental Organizations, NGOs to get Liberia on par with other countries in Africa and around the world has seen little achievement for women in politics.</p>
