Constitution of parliamentary committee for Western Sahara in East Timor

<p>The National Parliament of the Republic of East Timor adopted unanimously on Monday in Dili the creation of a parliamentary committee for Western Sahara, according to a statement of the SADR Embassy in Dili.</p><p>&nbsp;<br> “This decision is an important step in the right direction for the promotion of bilateral relations for the benefit of the aspirations of the two peoples and the two countries, the SADR and East Timor,” said the statement.</p><p>&nbsp;<br> The Commission will be responsible for monitoring of developments in the peaceful settlement process signed by the parties to the conflict, the Polisario Front and the Kingdom of Morocco, to raise the Timorese and international public opinion on the question of Western Sahara.</p>
