US warns against constitutional crisis in Liberia

<p>US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Ambassador Linda Thomas Greenfield has expressed the hope that Liberians will make a decision that will avoid constitutional crisis.</p> <p>Secretary of State Greenfield made the comment last week while visiting Liberia at the head of a high level US Government delegation on an assessment mission, in reference to her Government's take on the holding of the senatorial elections on which the Supreme Court of Liberia has a stay-order.</p>
