Tanzania's draft Constitution in fine-tuning phase

<p>The Drafting Committee (DC) has been given two days to produce the final document that will be presented to the wananchi for approval or rejection.&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5em;">CA Chairman Samuel Sitta told the assembly here during the morning session that after winding up the debate, the DC will have today and tomorrow to fine-tune the draft ready for presentation in the debating chamber on Thursday. "(This) Thursday is the day we have been eagerly waiting for.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5em;">The chairperson of the Drafting Committee will present to us the compilation of all the work we have been doing," said Mr Sitta. He added that the voting exercise will commence on September 29 and end on October 2, this year.</span></p>
