Nepal: SPCBN Civil Society Project_Phases 1 & 2

This is a report from the Centre for Constitutional Dialogue (CCD) on SPCBN Civil Society Outreach Project in Nepal - 2010. As one of its key objectives, the SPCBN project has been supporting civil society to facilitate the participation of excluded and disadvantaged communities in the development of the new Nepali constitution. The project was implemented in two phases.

The Centre for Constitutional Dialogue (CCD) is a resource centre established to support Nepal’s constitution making process through providing training opportunities, expert advice, information, dialogue space as well as promoting public awareness. It is open to the Constituent Assembly members, civil society, and anyone who is interested in the constitution making process. The CCD is an initiative by the UN Development Program (UNDP) project on Support to Participatory Constitution Building in Nepal (SPCBN).
