Turkey aims for constitutional reforms

<p>A multi-party parliamentary committee has started work on what observers say will be <a title="Turkey to write first fully civilian constitution" href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17903466">Turkey's first genuine civilian constitution</a>. The process, according to analysts aims, <a title="Rethinking Turkey's Constitution" href="http://www.rethinkinstitute.org/index.php/78-sample-data-articles/turkey/71-rethinking-turkeys-constitution">amongst other reasons to, replace the Charter drafted essentially by the military regime 30 years ago with little public participation</a>.
