Moroccans go to the polls to vote on new constitution

<p>Moroccans
are today voting in a constitutional referendum that would either approve or
reject King Mohammed VI’s proposed constitutional reforms announced in a speech in June. The reforms were designed to restructure the political system, grant new freedoms and contain political grievances
from taking the bloody turn that has been witnessed in the wake of the Arab Speing in Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, Bahrain and Yemen. The
constitution, if passed, will also allow for the direct election of the Prime Minister,
who, until now has been appointed directly by the King (<a title="Morocco votes on constitutional reforms" href="http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/07/01/morocco.vote.reforms/">CNN</a>). Read the full article here:
