Proclamation of the House of Representatives

This statement, made by the House of Representatives in 2006, states that it has sovereign powers until the formulation of another constitutional arrangement, in order to take responsibility to move ahead in the direction of full-fledged democracy.  It addresses the Legislative, the Executive, the army, Rajparishad, the Royal Palace, citizenship, the national anthem, and the secular state.
