Proclamation to the Nation from His Majesty King Gyanendra

This statement, made by His Majesty King Gyanendra to the citizens of Nepal, states that the best interests of Nepal involve the people having sovereignty and state power.  With this proclamation, he reinstates the House of Representatives and calls upon the Seven Party Alliance to bear the responsibility of taking the country on the path to national unity and prosperity.
