Message from the Chairman of the Constitutional Commission of Afghanistan

This message was released by Professor Naimatullah Shahrani, the Vice-President and Chairman of the Constitutional Commission of Afghanistan.  He states that the Draft Constitution, to be discussed and approved by the people's representatives at the Constitutional Loya lirga (CLl) is Afghanistan's new national legal charter which will set the stage for and guarantee the future development of every aspect of life in Afghanistan, including political, economic, social and cultural. The Constitutional Commission of Afghanistan presents this Draft Constitution to the people of Afghanistan so that they can freely study, discuss and review it.
