The Bonn Agreement in Dari/Pashto

Signed on the  5th of December 2001 between the participants to the UN Talks on Afghanistan and the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan, the Bonn Agreement was the initial series of agreements intended to end the conflict and re-create the State ofAfghanistan following the US invasion in response to the Sepetember 11 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington DC.  It  also aimed to promote national reconciliation, lasting peace, stability and respect for human rights in the country. It includes general provisions on an Interim Authority, a legal framework and judicial system, and an Interim Administration.
