The tenth in the Autonomias en la Constitucion Series – commissioned by International IDEA, in the context of the implementation process of the New Bolivian Constitution (2009), to foster debates and provide analytical insights on various subjects related to ongoing structural reforms in the area of territorial rearrangement and State-level departmental autonomy, this working paper analyses the system of social and economic development, land and natural resources enshrined in the new constitution and autonomous statutes.
