Ukrainian parliament sends draft amendments concerning decentralisation to Constitutional Court

<p>Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, on Thursday sent to the Constitutional Court draft amendments to the country’s Constitution concerning decentralization.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.3999996185303px;">A total of 288 lawmakers, 62 more than the minimum required voted in favor of the decision.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 20.3999996185303px;">The Constitution is added by a provision that "the peculiarities of local self-government in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions are defined by a separate law."&nbsp;</span></p>
