Pakistan: Constitutional amendment bill in relation to principles of Shariah, Urdu proposed

<p>Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Wednesday submitted an amendment bill in the 1973’s Constitution of Pakistan, recommending amendments in Article 5 and 6, named as ‘Constitution of Pakistan (Amended) Bill 2016’.</p><p>The bill submitted to recommend amendments in Article 5; urging responsibility of the state and all state institutions to follow law and constitution besides full implementation all of its provisions while failure must be considered as violation of law and constitution.&nbsp;</p>
