Kenyan parliamentary working group proposes radical constitutional amendments, including mandatory voting

<p data-para-word-count="30" class="story-body-text">The number of Members of Parliament, ward reps and members of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission will be reduced significantly if Parliament passes radical proposals to amend the Constitution.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.4px;">The proposals have been drafted by a technical committee appointed by Parliament and chaired by the auditor-general, Mr Edward Ouko.</span></p>
