French Senate effectively kills controversial nationality law

<p>The French Senate has essentially&nbsp;<a href="http://www.lemonde.fr/politique/article/2016/03/17/decheance-de-nationalite-le-senat-vote-un-texte-different-de-l-assemblee_4885276_823448.html">put to death</a>&nbsp;one of the most controversial pieces of legislation in recent memory: a proposed constitutional amendment that would strip French citizenship from dual nationals convicted of terrorism.</p>
