Objectives
Project description: the 'Nepal Peace Process Preparations'project will assist the king, political parties and Maoists in preparing for, and initiating, a peace process in Nepal by holding pre-negotiation meetings with all three actors.Expected impact: ceasefire agreement between all the key actors. Improved likelihood of success for a peace process expected outcomes: increased capacity of the negotiators of all sides. Increased trust between the different representatives. Negotiation agenda and structure for the peace process expected outputs: the carter center successfully meets and engages in discussion with the political parties, the palace and the Maoists.
