The consolidation of a mature political culture through support to civic education projects within indigenous civil society groups that seek to enhance a culture of constitutionalism in Kenya. During the course of this programme, the donor partners will monitor progress made with regard to a constitutional review process. If and when partners are satisfied that a review process has been established that justifies support, this basket fund provides the scope to fund initiatives which seek to promote and facilitate the participation of the Kenyan population in the process. Activities will be undertaken in close collaboration with the institutions set in place for the review process.
